Section 57A(3) in The Maharashtra Cooperative Societies Rules, 1961
(3)Notwithstanding anything contained in the bye-laws of the society regarding the procedure for convening and holding meeting and recording of minutes, the procedure adopted by the Registrar, [the Presiding Officer or] [Substituted 'the Presiding Officer and' by Notification No. CSL-2014/697/C.R.04/13C, dated 30.8.2014 (w.e.f. 23.12.1961).] the Authorised Officer under sub-rule (2), shall be deemed to be the proper procedure under the provisions of bye-laws of the society.
