Section 35A(1) in The Gujarat University Act, 1949
(1)The Executive Council shall have the power after consultation with the Academic Council, to approve an institution as an approved institution for specialized studies, laboratory work, internship, research or other academic work approved by the Academic Council under the guidance of a qualified teacher.
