Section 70(1) in Punjab Water Supply and Sewerage Board Act, 1976
(1)Notwithstanding anything contained in any other law for the time being in force, no local authority or agency shall be empowered to deal with matters which are within the functions of the Board under this Act with respect to any area to which this Act is applied :Provided that the Government may, by notification, in the manner prescribed, exclude any scheme or a part thereof, framed or to be framed or under execution from the functions of the Board and allow any local authority or agency to execute or carry on the execution or to complete the same.
