The present petition has been filed seeking direction to the respondents to consider her candidature for recruitment on the post of M.P.Shikshak Bharti Varg-II.

2. The grievance of the petitioner arises from the fact that in the Teacher Eligibility Test, 2023 the petitioner could not qualify as she did not obtain the requisite marks. It is the case of the petitioner that though she obtained requisite proportionate marks i.e. 91.61 but as a result of normalisation process, her marks were reduced to less than the cut-off marks and she obtained 89.74 marks after normalisation process. It is the case of the petitioner that only on account of normalisation process she was declared disqualified and her marks were pushed down to below the cut-off of 90.00 marks.

3. Upon hearing the learned counsel for the petitioner it is seen that the case of petitioner is that by way of normalisation her marks have been Signature Not Verified Signed by: NEETI TIWARI Signing time: 06-02-2025 15:17:41 NEUTRAL CITATION NO. 2025:MPHC-JBP:5384 2 WP-3813-2025 pushed down to below cut-off. The process of normalisation is now a well established process and where examinations are held in different sessions and/or with different sets of papers having different questions, then to arrive at some common competitive score for the examinees who have appeared by different sets of question papers having different questions, the process of normalisation is adopted. The said process has been upheld by the Supreme Court in the case of State of U.P. and others vs. Atul Kumar Dwivedi and others (2022) 11 SCC 578.

4. In view of the above, no error is found in the final score of the petitioner which is 89.74 marks in the subject Hindi for Middle School Teacher which is below the cut-off of 90.00 after normalisation. She being disqualified in Teachers Eligibility Test, cannot seek participation in recruitment process.

5. The petition being devoid of merits stands dismissed.
