50. Limitation for claims by persons entitled to payment.
- Every person in whose favour an order for payment has been made by the Tribunal shall make an application for payment within three months from the date of such order:Provided that the Tribunal may, within such further time not exceeding six months as it may in its discretion allow, admit a claim preferred after the period of three months aforesaid if it is satisfied that the claimant had sufficient cause for not preferring the claim within that period:Provided further that, where an appeal has been filed before the Special Appellate Tribunal against the said order for payment, the aforesaid period of three months shall be reckoned from the date of the decision of the Special Appellate Tribunal on the appeal.
