70. Delegation of powers of State Government or of Corporation.
(1)The State Government may, if it thinks fit, delegate any of its powers, under this Act except the power to make rules, to any of its officers by notification in the Official Gazette.(2)The Corporation may, with the previous approval of the State Government, delegate any of its powers under this Act to any officer of the State Government or to any of its officers and to permit them to re-delegate specific powers to their subordinates, by general or special order in this behalf.
