Section 107(18) in The Maharashtra Cooperative Societies Rules, 1961
(18)Every person making a payment towards any money due for the recovery of which application has been made under this rule shall be entitled to a receipt for the amount signed by the [Recovery Officer] [Substituted 'Sale Officer' by Notification No. CSL-2014/697/C.R.04/13C, dated 30.8.2014 (w.e.f. 23.12.1961).] or other officer employed by the Recovery Officer in that behalf; such receipt shall state the name of the person making the payment and the subject matter in respect of which the payment is made.
