Section 39(1) in U.P. Inter-State Migrant Workmen (Regulation of Employment and Conditions of Service) Rules, 1983
(1)The contractor shall provide sufficient quantity of wholesome drinking water, sufficient number of sanitary latrines and urinals and washing facilities for the migrant workmen at the establishment in the case of existing establishments within seven days of the commencement of these rules and in case of new establishments, within seven days of the commencement of employment of migrant workmen therein.
