Heard learned counsel for the parties.
By means of this petition, petitioner has prayed for a writ of mandamus commanding the respondent to correct the date of birth of the petitioner in the high school marksheet certificate issued by the Board of High School and Intermediate Education, U.P. in respect of the Examination Year, 2009.
It is submitted by the learned counsel for the petitioner that the petitioner had already moved an application dated 25.09.2019 seeking necessary correction which was processed and as per inspection officer's report dated 04.09.2021, entire documents are already available.
He has drawn attention of the Court towards letter dated 04.09.2021 issued by the Additional Secretary, Secondary Education, Varanasi Region to the Principal of Institute namely Balbhadra Inter College, Jaunpur and also to the Headmaster of the J.D.M. Public School, Jaunpur to provide necessary documents mentioned therein so that the matter can be examined and appropriate orders may be passed.
Learned Standing Counsel submits that appropriate direction can be issued to the competent authority in the matter to do the needful in a time bound period.
In view of the above, this petition stands disposed of with the direction to respondent no.2 to get the necessary report from the institution as per the order dated 04.03.2021 within a period of six weeks from today and if the institution is not co-operating, necessary coercive measures, as may be required, shall be taken to procure the documents and thereafter, an appropriate order shall be passed on the application of the petitioner within next two months' time.
