Section 11 in The Maharashtra Non-Biodegradable Garbage (Control) Act, 2006
11. Offences to be tried summarily. —
All offences under the Act shall be tried in a summary way by a Court not below the rank of a Judicial Magistrate of the First Class or the Metropolitan Magistrate and the provisions of sections 262 to 265 (both inclusive) of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 (II of 1974), shall, as far as may be, apply to such trials.
