Section 21(2) in Himachal Pradesh Shops and Commercial Establishments Act, 1969
(2)Whoever contravenes the provisions of sub-section (1) or willfully obstructs the inspecting authority in exercise of the powers under this Act or conceals or prevents any employee in an establishment from appearing before or being examined by the authority, shall be liable, on conviction, to a fine which shall not be less than [four thousand rupees and may extend to seven thousand rupees] [The words 'five hundred rupees' substituted for the words and sign 'twenty-five rupees' and the words 'two thousand rupees' substituted for the words 'two hundred rupees' respectively vide Act No. 15 of 2004 and again the words 'four thousand rupees but which may extend to six thousand rupees' substituted for the words 'five hundred rupees and may extend to two thousand rupees' vide H.P. Act No. 27 of 2012.].
