745P.
A party applying for a summons to a witness shall be required to deposit at the time of applying for summons a sum sufficient to cover the traveling allowance and the diet allowance of the witness according to the scale given under Rule 17. Payment shall be made to the witness out of amounts so deposited after the witness has given evidence or he is discharged by the Judge.
