Section 3(1) in The Calcutta Metropolitan Development Authority Act, 1972
(1)As soon as may be after the commencement of this Act, the State Government shall, by notification in the Official Gazette, constitute, for the purposes of this Act, and authority to be called the Calcutta Metropolitan Development Authority (hereinafter referred to as the Metropolitan Authority).
