242. Repeal and Savings
. - The Punjab Motor Vehicle Rules, 1940, the Punjab Motor Accidents Claims Tribunal Rules, 1964, the Punjab Public Carrier Agents Licensing Rules, 1979 and the Punjab Motor Vehicles State Transport Service Undertaking Schemes Rules, 1989 are hereby repealed :Provided that any order issued or any action taken under the rules so repealed shall be deemed to have been issued or taken under the corresponding provisions of these rules.The First Schedule(Rules 18, 29 and 94 of Punjab Motor Vehicles Rules, 1989)Badges For Drivers, Conductors And Ticket AgentsDriver's BadgeWhite metal of light weight 45 millimetres in diameter.
