(1)An appeal against an order of the licensing authority refusing to grant or renew a licence or suspending or cancelling any licence under this Act or forfeiting any security deposited or furnished in respect of a licence shall lie to such authority, not below the rank of an Assistant Registrar, Cooperative Societies, and within such time, as may be prescribed.
