1. Short title, Extent and Commencement.
(1)This Act may be called the [Potti Sreeramulu Telugu University Act, 1985] [Substituted by Act No.30 of 1996.].(2)It extends to the whole of the state of [Telangana] [Substituted by G.O.Ms.No.28, Higher Education (UE) Department, dated 11.09.2015.].(3)It shall come into force on such date as the Government may, by notification in the [Telangana] [Substituted by G.O.Ms.No.28, Higher Education (UE) Department, dated 11.09.2015.] Gazette, appoint.
