(22)Where assets are held by the [Recovery Officer] [Substituted 'Sale Officer' by Notification No. CSL-2014/697/C.R.04/13C, dated 30.8.2014 (w.e.f. 23.12.1961).] and before the receipt of such assets, demand notices in pursuance of applications for execution of decree against the same defaulter have been received from more than one applicant and the applicants have not obtained satisfaction, the assets, after deducting the costs of realisation, shall be rateably distributed by the [Recovery Officer] [Substituted 'Sale Officer' by Notification No. CSL-2014/697/C.R.04/13C, dated 30.8.2014 (w.e.f. 23.12.1961).] among all such applicants in the manner provided in Section 73 of the Code of Civil Procedure, 1908.
