Section 7(7) in The Standards Of Quality Of Service (Broadcasting And Cable Services) (Cable Television-Cas Areas) Regulation, 2006
7.1In CAS areas change of positioning of TV channels comprised in the basic service tier by the MSO operating the Head End should not normally be done. In case of pressing technical reasons requiring changes of TV channel position, the subscriber shall be notified at least 3 days in advance of such occurrence. For the purpose of information to the subscribers, a scroll indicating the frequency in which a particular channel is placed shall be run at periodic intervals.
