Section 17(1) in Statutes of the National Institute of Technology, Andhra Pradesh, 2017
(1)The Director of the Institute shall be appointed by the Visitor on contract basis on the recommendation of a Search-cum-Selection Committee constituted by him consisting of at least five members. The Chairperson of the Council shall be its Chairperson and the Secretary of the Department of Higher Education or his representative shall be one its members besides three other experts in the field of technical education with experience at national and international level.
