1. Heard Shri Amitabh Rai, learned State Counsel for the appellant.
2. There is reported delay of 2456 days in filing the present special appeal arising out of the impugned judgment/order passed on 15.10.2014 in Writ Petition No.5908 (S/S) of 2014.
3. It is not the position before us that the order passed by the Writ Court has not been complied with. Once the order is complied with by the State unconditionally, there does not appear to be any justifiable reason for assailing the said order by filing a special appeal that too after a long delay of 2456 days.
4. The application for condonation of delay is rejected on account of heavy laches of so many years and consequently, the special appeal is dismissed.
