                the impugned order passed by the 1st Respondent in Letter No. (2D) No.8,

                dated 02.02.2015 and quash the same as null and void and regularize the
                service of the Petitioner as System Analyst under the 2nd Respondent.

                                                             ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed by the petitioner seeking to quash the impugned order passed by the 1st Respondent in Letter No. (2D) No.8, dated 02.02.2015 and to regularize the service of the Petitioner as System Analyst under the 2nd Respondent.

2. The grievance of the petitioner as seen from the prayer of this Writ Petition is that the services of the petitioner as System Analyst under the second respondent ie., the Director of Municipal Administration has to be regularized.

3. The Government has an issued G.O.(2D)No.60, Municipal Administration & Water Supply (ME.1) Department, dated 08.06.2023, wherein it is stated as under:

“7. The Government after careful examination accept the proposal of the Director of Municipal Administration and accordingly relax the method of appointment for the post of System Analyst in the office of the Director of Municipal Administration in favour of Thiru.R.Manahavala Perumal, formerly Assistant, Tirunelveli Corporation, now Superintendent, Greater Chennai Corporation and also regularize the service of Thiru. R.Manahavala Perumal in the post of System Analyst in the office of https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis ( Uploaded on: 27/11/2025 01:54:14 pm ) WP No. 16 3 2 3 of 20 1 5 the Commissioner of Municipal Administration from 05.02.2011 to 10.06.2015 by relaxing ruling 4(ii) under the Fundamental Rule 110, in favour of the individual.”

4. As seen from above Government Order, the services of the petitioner were regularized in the post of System Analyst in the second respondent’s office by relaxing the Rule 4(ii) under the Fundamental Rule 110.

5. In view of the above Government Order, no further orders are required in the Writ Petition.

6. Hence, the Writ Petition is closed. No costs.
