24. Power to write of irrecoverable amounts.
(1)A market committee may, subject to such restriction and control as may be prescribed, write-off any amount due to it, if in its opinion such amount is irrecoverable;Provided that the market committee shall obtain the previous sanction of the Government for writing-off any such amount where it exceeds one hundred rupees.
