:ORDER

The petitioner has come to this Court challenging the correctness of the impugned order, dated Nil, wherein, it is stated that the petitioner has obtained P.G. Degree and B.Ed. Degree simultaneously.

2.Assailing the impugned order, the learned Senior Counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that though the petitioner studied and prepared for both the degrees, viz., B.Ed. [English] and M.A. [English], she appeared only for the examinations held for B.Ed. Degree in the month of May 2010 and she had not attended for the examinations conducted for first year M.A. Degree during May 2010 and completed her M.A. Degree in May 2011. It is only during November 2010, the petitioner attended for the first year M.A. Examination, after receiving the B.Ed. Degree. Therefore, the contention of the respondent that the petitioner has obtained dual degree at a time is wholly unjustified.

3.But, this Court is unable to appreciate the contentions made by the learned Senior Counsel appearing for the petitioner to interfere with the impugned proceedings. The reason is, even the petitioner's representation, dated 13.09.2017, also clearly shows that she had completed her B.Ed. [English] in May 2010 and obtained her M.A. Degree [English] in May 2011, that shows that both the B.Ed. and M.A. Degrees were obtained by the petitioner simultaneously.

4.Moreover, an order passed by the learned Single Judge of this Court in W.P.(MD)No.1677 of 2013, dated 13.02.2015 [S.Deepa Vs. The Member Secretary, TRB, Chennai], which was relied upon by the learned Senior Counsel appearing for the petitioner, cannot be pressed into service to say that the petitioner has not obtained both the B.Ed. and M.A. [English] Degrees simultaneously, for the reason that when the petitioner admittedly obtained B.Ed. Degree [English] in May 2010, it is not known how, she can contend before this Court that she has not pursued her M.A. Degree [English] two years course simultaneously, while she was able to obtain M.A. Degree [English] in May 2011. Therefore, this Writ Petition fails and the same is dismissed. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are closed.
