Section 25(b) in Jammu and Kashmir State Board of School Education Act, 1975
(b)Finance Committee:(i)the Finance Committee shall act as an advisory body in all matters concerning the finance, of the Board;(ii)the Finance Committee shall prepare the Annual Budget of Income and Expenditure and submit it to the Board for its approval;(iii)no new item of expenditure shall be incurred by the Board or its administrative or executive head without the prior concurrence of the Finance Committee;(iv)the Finance Committee shall perform such other functions as may be prescribed or delegated to it by the Board.
