Section 14 in The Gujarat Agricultural Produce Markets Act, 1963
14. Disabilities from continuing member.
(1)An elected or nominated member shall cease to hold office as such member if-(i)he ceases to be a member of the electorate by which he was elected; or(ii)he being a member of the class specified in clause (i) of sub-section (1) of Section 11 is granted a general licence under this Act; or(iii)he being a member nominated by a local authority, ceases to be a councillor, or as the case may be, a member of the local authority, or is granted a general licence under this Act.(2)The question whether any member ceases to hold office under sub-section (1) shall be determined by the Director.
