(a)to provide instructions, teaching, training and research in various disciplines leading to certificate, diploma, degree, M.Phil, Ph.D, and Post Doctoral Research in Arts, Science and Commerce, Law and Governance, Languages, Engineering and Technology, Computer Science and Applications, Planning and Architecture, Medical (Medicine and Surgery, Ayurveda, Yunani, Homeopathy, Dental, Hygiene and Tropical Medicine, Nursing), Business and Management, Education, Agriculture, Horticulture, Forestry, Fisheries, Vocational Training, Pharmacy, Veterinary, Animal Husbandry, Dairy, Physiotherapy, Paramedical, Media, Journalism, Film and TV Technology, Mass Communication, Fire and Safety, Sanitary Science and Social Work, International Studies, Foreign Trade, Aviation, online e-Programs, and Distance Learning, Music, Religion, Theology, Programme/Discipline duly approved by the Academic Council and Board of Management of the University-(i)for intellectual development of human resources; and(ii)any other areas of education as listed in Section 22 of the University Grant Commission Act of 1956 as amended from time to time;
