(1)All casual vacancies among the members (other than ex-officio members) of any authority or other body of the Cluster University shall be filled, as soon as conveniently may be, by the persons or body who appointed, elected or co-opted the member whose place has become vacant, and the person appointed, elected or co-opted, to casual vacancy, shall be a member of such authority or body for the residue of the term for which the person whose place he fills, would have been a member.(2)A person who is a member of an Authority of the Cluster University as a representative of another body whether of the Cluster University or outside, shall retain his seat on the Cluster University Authority, so long as he continues to be member of the body by which he was appointed or elected and thereafter till his successor is duly appointed.
