FACTS
Heard today dated 23.7.2012. Appellant present. IARI is represented by Dr. Shiva Dhar, Sr. Scientist.
2. The matter, in short, is that the appellant is a Pr. Scientist in IARI. Vide RTI application dated 4.3.2011, he had sought huge information running into 13 paras about the work relating to the biomass utilization allegedly awarded to M/s High Tech Agro and M/s Eco Friendly Solutions etc.
3. During the hearing, Shri Shiva Dhar submits that no work whatsoever was awarded to the first named firm. Some work, indeed, was awarded to the second named firm from 2007 to 2010 and that the appellant has been informed accordingly. As to the query raised by the appellant about any amount being due against the second named firm, Shri Shiva Dhar submits that no amount is due against the said firm and the entire account has been settled.
4. Even so, the appellant insists on inspection of the relevant records. In my opinion, there is no harm in giving inspection of records to the appellant on a mutually convenient date and time in next 04 weeks.
5. Before parting with this matter, I would like to advise the appellant not to agitate frivolous issues before this Commission and even if he thinks it necessary to raise queries they should not be rambling ones and should be pointed and specific.
