Section 269(2) in Bihar Building and Other Construction Workers (Regulation of Employment and Conditions of Service) Rules, 2005
(2)Every employer shall whenever the Secretary or any other officer authorised by him requires in person or by notice in writing to produce the records in respect of the building worker, shall deliver such records to the officer concerned in time and if the records are not returned he shall issue a receipt for the records so retained by him.
