330. Notice of prohibitions or setting apart of places
Whenever the municipal council shall have set apart any place for any purpose authorised by this Act or shall have prohibited the doing of anything in any place, the [executive authority] [These words were substituted for the word 'chairman' by section 17(1) of the Tamil Nadu District Municipalities (Amendment) Act, 1933 (Tamil Nadu Act XV of 1933).] shall forthwith cause to be put up a notice in English and in a vernacular language of the district at or near such place. Such notice shall specify the purpose for which such place has been set apart or the act prohibited in such place.
