10. Commission to invite applications.
- The Commission shall announce in such manner, as they think fit the number of vacancies to be filled by direct appointment and shall invite applications from candidates eligible for appointment to the service :Provided that if there are suitable temporary Assistant Engineers in service who, not more than one year ago, had been nominated by the Commission for appointment as direct recruits, they may be appointed by the State Government.
