Section 226 in The Naval Ceremonial, Conditions Of Service And Miscellaneous Regulations, 1964

226. Maintenance of Good Order.

- It shall be the duty of every Officer, Chief Petty Officer, Petty Officer and [Leading season (or equivalent rank)] [Substitued by S.R.O 192, dated 10th September, 1973] of all branches of the Service to ensure that order and regularity are preserved in his vicinity among those officers and men, of whatever branch and whether on duty or not, who hold a rank, [***] [omitted by S.R.O. 192, dated 10th September, 1973], junior to him, and the provisions of sub-regulation (11) of Regulation 225 shall not be taken as precluding him from giving any orders to such persons junior to him as are necessary to enable him to carry out this duty.
