Section 20(1) in The Punjab Agricultural University Act, 1961
(1)The Academic Council shall be incharge of the academic affairs of the University and shall, subject to the provisions of this Act and the Statutes, superintend, direct and control, and be responsible for, the maintenance of standard of instruction, education and examinations, and other matter connected with the obtaining of degrees and shall exercise such other powers and perform such other duties as may be prescribed.
