Section 7(1) in The Insurance Regulatory and Development Authority (Sharing of Database for Distribution of Insurance Products) Regulations, 2010
(1)The Authority may reject the application made by an insurer to the Authority seeking grant of approval of the referral company if it does not satisfy the eligibility criteria laid down in regulation 6 of these regulations, or if the grant of such approval is not found to be in public interest.
