The cash book shall be balanced on the last working day of every month and signed by the President or Secretary or the person administering the fund in token of the correctness of every entry made therein. The balance brought out shall be stated both in words and figures and shall agree with the balance shown in the treasury pass book thus-Rs. a. p.Balance as per cash book ............Add-Cheques uncashed..................No...............dated............No...............dated............(a)The accounts of sub-treasuries are generally closed three or four days before the end of the month and in such cases there will be discrepancies.(a)Deduct value of challans credited in the cash book but not appearing in the pass book..............Balance as per Pass Book
