Section 20 in Assam Moslem Marriages and Divorces Registration Act, 1935
20. Appeal against refusal to register.
- An appeal shall lie against an order of a Moslem Registrar refusing or admitting to register a marriage or divorce, to the Registrar to whom such Moslem Registrar is subordinate, if presented to such Registrar within thirty days from the date of the order, and tho Registrar may revise or alter such order.
