Pursuant to our Order dated 3 rd August, 2021, the Collector, Solapur is today present before us. He tenders his unconditional apology for giving an impression that the earlier order passed by this Court was unclear Kanchan P Dhuri 2 / 2 9-WP-2194-2021.odt because of which election for the post of Sarpanch was not held. Today, he states that no clarification qua the said order is required and that the election for the post of Sarpanch is scheduled to be held on 9th August, 2021. We reiterate that the election for the post of Sarpanch may be held subject to further orders passed by this Court. Stand over to 24th August, 2021.
