Section 5(3)(f) in The M.P. Van Upaj other than Timber (Vyapar Viniyaman) Niyam, 1969

(f)all transport permits after transporting specified forest produce or after the expiry of the period mentioned therein, whichever is earlier shall be returned within a fortnight to the nearest Forest Officer of or above the rank of Forest Ranger after obtaining acknowledgment.
