1. Short title and extent.
(1)This Act may be called the East Punjab Removal of Religious and Social Disabilities Act, 1948.(2)It extends to the whole of the [State] [Substituted for the word 'Province' by the Adaptation of Laws Order, 1950.] of [Punjab] [Substituted for the words 'East Punjab' Adaptation of Laws Order, 1950.].
