Section 33(i) in The Rajasthan Police Service Rules, 1954
(i)that the seniority inter-se of persons appointed to the Service before commencement of these Rules shall be as has already been fixed by Government, or may be fixed in future in accordance with the rules already issued in this behalf or on ad hoc basis;
