34. Manner of exercise of preferential rights for mining lease
.-A mining lease to any person who has a preferential right thereto under sub-section (1) of section 11, may, at his option, be granted to him either for the whole of the area for which he holds the prospecting license or such part or parts thereof as he may select but the State Government may, for any special reasons to be recorded in writing, reduce the area or exclude a portion therefrom.
