Section 20(1) in The U.P. Industries Department (Directorate of Handloom and Textiles) Subordinate Service Rules, 1992
(1)Subject to the provisions of sub-rule (2) the appointing authority shall make appointments by taking the names of candidates in the order in which they stand in the lists prepared under Rule 15, 16,17,18 or 19, as the case may be.
