- He shall attend the thana parades of chaukidars subordinate to him and see that all the chaukidars attend in proper uniform and that they give all the information required of them. He shall acquaint himself with any unavoidable reasons for which a chaukidar may be unable to attend, and should be able to explain to the officer taking the parade. In the case of the unavoidable absence of a chaukidar, he should see that a substitute is sent.He shall report to the panchayat and at the thana parades the misconduct of any of the chaukidars subordinate to him.
