70. Delegation of powers.
(1)Any power exercisable under these rules by the Government shall also be exercised by such officer or authority subordinate to the Government as mentioned in Schedule VI appended to these rules.(2)The Government may further, by notification in the Official Gazette direct that any power exercisable by it under these rules may in relation to such matters and subject to such conditions, if any, as may be specified in the notification be exercisable also by such officer or authority subordinate to the Government.
