Section 2(1)(c) in The North Cachar Hills Autonomous Districts (Administration of Justice) Rules, 1955

(c)"Autonomous District" means a Tribal Area deemed as such under Paragraph 1 (1) of the Sixth Schedule to the Constitution of India, and the term "District" shall be construed accordingly;
