Section 36A in The Cost And Works Accountants Act, 1959
36A. Members, etc. to be public servants.—
The Chairperson, Presiding Officer, members and other officers and employees of the Authority, Disciplinary Committee, Tribunal, Board, Board of Discipline or the Disciplinary Directroate shall be deemed to be public servants within the meaning of section 21 of the Indian Penal Code (45 of 1860).
