- If a vacancy in the office of a panch Sarpanch or Naib Sarpanch of the Circle Panchayat arises by reason of his death, resignation or removal, it should be filled for the unexpired portion of his terms in the manner provided under subsection (3) or (5) or Section 44, as the case may be.
