Section 2(1)(b) in Andhra Pradesh Right to Fair Compensation and Transparency in Land Acquisition, Rehabilitation and Resettlement Rules, 2014

(b)"Appropriate Government" means the State Government and includes the District Collector of the concerned District for any extent of land to be acquired for a public purpose within the jurisdiction of the revenue district ;
