Section 99(1) in The Maharashtra Cooperative Societies Rules, 1961
(1)If a [Co-operative Agriculture and Rural Multipurpose Development Bank] [Substituted 'Land Development Bank' by Notification No. CSL-2014/697/C.R.04/13C, dated 30.8.2014 (w.e.f. 23.12.1961).] fails to take action against a defaulter under Sections 129 or 132 or sub-section (1) of Section 133, the [State Co-operative Agriculture and Rural Multipurpose Development Bank] [Substituted 'State Land Development Bank' by Notification No. CSL-2014/697/C.R.04/13C, dated 30.8.2014 (w.e.f. 23.12.1961).] may call upon the former to take necessary action within a period of seven days and report compliance. If no report of compliance is received, the [State Co-operative Agriculture and Rural Multipurpose Development Bank] [Substituted 'State Land Development Bank' by Notification No. CSL-2014/697/C.R.04/13C, dated 30.8.2014 (w.e.f. 23.12.1961).] may itself take necessary action as indicated in the aforesaid section and sub-section.
