Section 100(2) in Maharashtra Public Universities Act, 2016
(2)The Buildings and Works Committee shall consist of the following members namely :-(a)the Vice-Chancellor - Chairperson ;(b)the Pro - Vice - Chancellor ;(c)Chancellor's nominee on the Management Council ;(d)Chief Engineer of the Public Works Department in charge of the region in which the university is situated, or his nominee not below the rank of Executive Engineer from that region ;(e)one eminent engineer, nominated by the Vice-Chancellor from the private sector ;(f)an eminent Architect, nominated by the Vice-Chancellor from the private sector ;(g)the Registrar ;(h)the Finance and Accounts Officer ;(i)the Executive Engineer of the University - Member-Secretary.
